JOINING CRITERIA

Please enter all the information required. Submit the information and allow 5 days for processing after which you may contact the Secretary to enquire about your application.

Please note the following:
  • Membership to the VACS is the following:

    - New members:
      Club shirt                             R90
      Subs                                   R80
      AVA Subs                            R55
      AVA Badge                          R40
      Total                                    R265

    -     Renewal:
      VACS Subs                          R80
      AVA Subs                            R55
      Total                                    R135

    If you are already a member of AVA, then the AVA fees are not included.

    Membership to has the benefits as laid out below.
    • To qualify for National Colours you must be a current member of both AVA and the Aero Club of South Africa.
    • Subscriptions to the Aero Club has been waived with the provision that the member actively assists with Aviation Youth Development programs and Virtual Aviation exhibitions.
    • Identity number, birth date, telephone number and address on the joining form is required for membership to the Aero Club of South Africa.
